At HES-TEC B.V., innovation is in our DNA, and we’re always listening to our community. From the moment we introduced Quick Knot® Deluxe, we knew we had created a game-changer for effortless and professional-looking show braids. But as our global reach expanded, so did the feedback from our loyal customers.

One of the most common comments we received was about the color of our "brown"  Quick Knot® Deluxe. Many of you, especially those with chestnut horses, expected a rich, natural brown that would blend seamlessly. Instead, our original brown had a golden/blonde tint, which didn’t match the deeper shades of chestnut coats.

Why the Change Took Time

When we first developed the Quick Knot®, our R&D team faced limitations—producing a different shade with the same high-quality standards was simply not possible at that time. However, with the amazing growth of our brand and the surge in social engagement, we knew we had to find a way to deliver exactly what our community wanted.

That’s why we pushed our manufacturing process to new heights, running countless tests and collecting real-world feedback from riders, grooms, and professionals. After extensive experimentation and refinement, we finally nailed the perfect shade: a true chestnut brown, designed to blend beautifully with darker coats.

Introducing the New Chestnut Brown Quick Knot® Deluxe!

We are thrilled to announce that as of February 23, 2025, the new Brown STD Quick Knot® Deluxe will be available on our website! This update ensures that chestnut, bay, and darker-coated horses get a more natural, seamless look when braided.

But that’s not all! Due to high demand, we’re also working on releasing the Brown XL version. Stay tuned for an official release date!
